Keys to the Kingdom.
One of the most powerful things I’ve learned over the course of this palates is the power of manifestation. We are energy based beings - our bodies are our first homes, ushering us along as we wake to our purpose. There are times when our 1st vessels need to be protected, need to rest, to heal, need to think - need to re-up to prepare for whatever mission is bestowed upon us. A bountiful bookend to one weekend was stumbling across a nugget of an oasis with the help of a new friend by the name of Troy. Through him I was reminded of community - the importance of turning the light on for others and by serving as the light. Troy, a fellow Brooklyn native, showed a few spaces within the property but it was the last apartment that caught my heart. It wasn’t spruced up and ready to go as of yet but I saw the flesh of hope through it’s bare bones. The power to manifest I think starts with the power to believe; as we walked through the space I could see things in motion - nieces and nephews running about, Covid free gatherings and client meet ups with beautiful spirits yearning for connection. Most importantly, a space to plug in and reconnect with myself. My intuition said this is it. Before we departed ways Troy said
“Before you go. Even if you never contact me again about this property, I wish you well on your journey to find a new apartment.”
I received this. His vibe completely sealed the deal for me. I took a leap of faith submitted paperwork and with Troy’s support by the end of the week the space was approved. As tumultuous as the previous months have been for us all it was a certified blessing to have some good news drop into my lap. Upon our next meet up to obtain the keys to my new space he nudged my spirit again with a reminder to dream big and that anything is possible. Troy Gaskin, was a broker and life coach in one. Unlike other brokers he genuinely cared about creating an experience. His energy was a testimony to the recognition of his own power and purpose. The best way I can show gratitude is to honor what this new chapter will be about. In homage to new beginnings I derived this manifesto which will hang in my entryway:
Kingdom Manifesto
1. Manifest
I manifest this space to be full of life - the best that life has to offer - good and great intentions. Love. A safe space to dream big - tap into my light to take on the adventures of the unknown. I manifest balance, abundance, and peace. Freedom. Responsible freedom. Mindful freedom. Harmony.
2. Gratitude
I have the privilege to wake and try again with the momentum towards the life I want. This space will serve as a dress rehearsal to understand how to protect my spiritual, mental, physical vibrations where ever I may go.
3. Service
In my daily efforts to operate at a high vibration, I will choose to surround myself with the tools to stay in tune. My vibration will serve as my signature. My positive intentions for this space will lead to the keys to the kingdom within me.
